Wealth Creation At Household Level Is Still Possible.

Today, the President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni was with almost his entire cabinet and other government officials in Gomba, Kisozi.

In this visit, the government officials and other leaders visited different farms in Gomba and Ssembabule owned by Ugandans who were able to benefit from Museveni’s wealth creation gospel.

They visited a one Lubega Patrick, who is running his farm on 4.5 acres and it has more than 300banana suckers on it. They also visited Yusuf Ssuna’s farm in Ssembabule, where he is running a coffee farm of five acres of land.

The President emphasized the need to create opportunities for everyone and he encouraged the locals to work hard, save some money and utilize the SACCO’s in their areas.

He said ” “When we came in 1986, we found the cattle keepers had settled down but hadn’t gone to level of commercial farming and with calculation. When we came from the bush, we told these people in the cattle corridor to start commercial farming. It would help them get money from whatever they were doing but with calculation.”

This is also one of Museveni’s initiatives of fighting poverty at household level and he also encouraged the delegation to further spread this gospelin their localities.
