General (Retired) Caleb Akandwanaho, popularly known as Salim Saleh, has praised the officers of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) for their dedicated efforts in empowering Ugandan communities to shift from subsistence farming to more sustainable and profitable economic activities.

As the Chief Coordinator of OWC, Saleh’s comments highlight the importance of the initiative in transforming the lives of Ugandans through economic development.

Speaking about the work of OWC officers, Saleh commended their steadfast commitment to helping communities enhance their economic prospects. By focusing on transitioning communities from subsistence farming to more sustainable economic pursuits, OWC aims to improve livelihoods and contribute to the overall economic growth of Uganda.

Operation Wealth Creation is a government initiative aimed at promoting commercial agriculture and wealth creation among Ugandans. Through OWC, efforts are made to support farmers and communities in adopting more profitable and sustainable farming practices, accessing markets, and improving value chains for various agricultural products.

Saleh’s appreciation for the OWC officers underscores the significance of their work in achieving the initiative’s goals and contributing to Uganda’s economic development. By empowering communities to engage in more sustainable economic activities, OWC plays a vital role in improving livelihoods and fostering economic growth in the country.
