AC Milan could approach outgoing Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel as they look to replace Stefano Pioli at the end of the current campaign, according to Rudy Galetti. They are currently linked with a move for Sergio Conceicao, however, they have put the German manager’s name in the shortlist.

Benfica boss Schmidt rejects Bayern’s offer

Benfica boss Roger Schmidt ruled out a move away from Benfica amid interest from Bayern Munich as they identified him as a possible replacement for Thomas Tuchel.

Speaking to reporters, Schmidt said, “It’s clear to me that I’ll stay at Benfica until 2026. That’s what I want. That’s why I signed a new contract. I’m not on the market. I have a job at Benfica. As a coach, I also have to see the development and potential for the coming years. I think a lot of things are good.”

Chelsea are plotting an ambitious move for Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen to boost their attack for the 2024/25 season. The Blues are desperate to land the Nigerian hotshot and according to Gianluca Di Marzio, they could offer a package of £77 million (€90m/$96m) and two players, one of them a youngster. The other is rumoured to be Romelu Lukaku, who is currently on loan at Serie A side Roma.
