M7 Introduces Another Plan For 2026 General Election.

The road to 2026 is getting more thicker as both the opposition and the ruling party are busy doing their best to see that they get the majority vote. Sources have reveled to us that there is a roaming plan to create more 60 constituencies through some new constitutional amendments.

Ten (10) of these new constituencies are in Buganda and the other 50 are in other parts of Uganda, meaning that this entire process is in favour of the National Resistance Movement.

The mega plan is that Parliament takes over the responsibility of electing the President, hence the need to have more numbers within the house.

All this comes at the time when Dr. Kiiza Besigye has proved that he still has the support of the people, though most political analysts had thought that he had entirely lost it to Kyagulanyi.

Besigye’s strength was evidenced through his ongoing consultative meetings he is carrying out allover the country after allegations that the FDC Najjanankumbi faction has been receiving financial support from Museveni.

The seven (7) newly registered political parties, clearly explains the current predicament that the opposition in Uganda is dealing with. This Indicates that with poor organizational strategies, all this will act in favour of the ruling party come 2026.

The recruitment of judges in the court of appeal is seen as another plan to strengthen his favor the judiciary who will be dealing with the 2026 election petitions.

In his address to the newly sworn in Judges at State House yesterday, President Museveni said ” Today’s introduction of judges of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal and the swearing-in of Justice Asa Mugenyi is another mark of stability that characterizes the institutions of the State. This is because people have gone through school, joined, and progressed through service while others are peacefully retiring.”

He further said that , “This cumulative and valuable human resource, for instance, in the case of the judiciary, allows for a harmonization with African jurisprudence. I congratulate the Judiciary, the appointed Judges, and their families.”

Sources further say, the President , it is said that the President has started calling and assigning complaining and unhappy retired soldiers with some minor duties, with the aim of keeping them busy and earning some money, with a motive to act as back up, in case things go haywire.
