GENERAL MUHOOZI SEASONED OVER 150 SOLIDERS.

On Tuesday 24 April the Chief of the Uganda People’s Defence Force [UPDF] General Muhoozi presided over 150 seasoned soldiers at the military headquarters base in Mbuya.

23 officers where promoted to colonel ,39 to majors and 88 to Lieutenant colonel.

He remained soldiers of their main responsibility of safeguarding and also naturing the society.

‘’Our main duty as solider goes beyond protecting bounders ,we must also nurture and safeguard our society’.

He added that true leadership is not about rank or authority but its about service and sacrifice.

Colonel Jaffari Kasirivu also emphasized and reminded them the key role of the military.

‘Our duty as soldiers is not to defend ,but to uplift and protect the lives of our fellow citizens.

In times of adversity ,it is our faith and integrity that sustain us both General Muhoozi and Colonel kasirivu reminded the soldiers.

as for the ladies in the military ,we juggle the duties of both soldiers and caretakers facing unique the challenges that require resilience and determination said Colonel Joyce Karebara with 39 years of service.

Colonel Sam Ngobi ‘our strength lies in our ability to adopt and evolve , to stay ahead of our adversaries

Ngobi also reminded the military about the power and honour in learning ,adopting and evolving.
