Committing Suicide Increase in Uganda.

HOW TO STOP SUICIDE

The spokesperson of the ministry of internal affairs Simon Mundeyi says that reports coming from different partners of the ministry including police clarifies the matter.

While speaking to TV10 Gano Mazima Journalist, Simon says that reports indicates 63.3% of people committing suicide in urban areas.

And 25.6% of the people committing suicide in rural areas, some of the hanger themselves and others use poisons to kill themselves.

He says that among the many causes of people to kill themselves includes misuse of drugs and self medication.

Mundeyi adds that even herbalists give patients harmful medicine which causes people to die in their house without attending hospital or any medical Doctor.

Contraceptive pills are also one of the causes of the high rate of the number of people especially girls and women who kill themselves in Uganda.

 Row late of hygiene and Use of harmful cosmetics especially both women and young girls has also raised in the numbers of people committing suicide in Uganda.

Depression due to relationships and family affairs are also leading in the causes of the increase of people committing suicide in the country.
