A teacher at Seeta High School, Ivan Demacris Oloya, 38, was brutally killed yesterday. According to reports, Oloya was attacked and killed near his home around Code High School in Bajjo where his wife is a teacher. The police in Mukono have arrested five suspects in connection with the murder.
This incident comes on the heels of another tragedy at Seeta High School, where a Senior Three student, Elishama Ssesaazi, died under mysterious circumstances. The school’s administration initially reported it as a suicide, but later revised their statement after further investigations.
The incidents have raised concerns about student and teacher safety at the school, with some calling for greater accountability and transparency.
