SAD NEWS: Sarah Eperu Is Dead.

The former Spokesperson of the women’s league in the Forum For Democratic Change Sarah Eperu Is Dead.

The party announced her demise yesterday through their X account saying “it is with heavy heart that we announce the untimely passing of our comrade and dedicated member of the party.”

The former president of the party Dr Kizza Besigye also posted on his X account saying “Just been given the very sad news of the passing of our veteran political activist Sarah Eperu – devastanding”

The main cause of her death is uncertain but according to her son Emmanuel Eperu, the deceased breathed her last breath at around 8:30pm on Sunday from Life Link hospital in Kyaliwajala where she was rushed after complaining of general body weakness.

Upon her death, Sarah was the chair of the FDC Kapir county constituency branch in Ngora District.

Sarah Eperu will be remembered for her activism and her contribution during the famous walk to work campaign which was sphere headed by Dr kizza Besigye in 2011.
