Protests In New Delhi Over The Arrest Of Arvind Kejriwal.

Ever since he was arrested on Thursday last week, Arvind Kejriwal supporters and other party members in his Aam Aadmi Party have been on the streets of New Delhi protesting against the arrest of their leader.

The Chief Minister was arrested on corruption allegations, where his party is accused of having gotten a bribe of close to 12 million dollars from some alcohol contractors in India.

Today, the masses had decided to march to the residence of the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the march started from the Parliament House of India but they were stopped by the police as they tried to march to his residence.

Other Aam Aadmi Party leaders have come out to squash these allegations saying that the finical crime agency was used by Modi to fabricate this corruption case against their leader.

This comes just a few weeks ahead of the Country’s general election which is set for 19th April 2024.

Countries like Germany and USA have come out, asking for a fair hearing and trail in all the Judicial processes of Arvind Kejriwal.

This opposition leader ( Arvind Kejriwal) is the National convener of the Aam Aadmi Party which is in control of the northern Indian state of Punjab.
