Luzira Prison To Be Re- Located.

News coming in to our desk have put to light the ongoing deal between the President Of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with a Chinese company of wanting to relocate the the Luzira Prison.

In 2022, July – 10th , the President wrote to Gen. Kahinda Otafire informing him about this matter. In this letter, the President said ” I have received a letter from Tian Tang Group where they are proposing to re-locate Luzira Prison into a five star hotel with a conference center, and relocate the prison at their cost, to another place in the interior on the land identified by the government. I totally support this idea.” The President said.

The President went a head and directed the Internal Affairs Minister to start the negotiations with Tian Tang Group about the program and to also identify the land with in the interior, where the prison will be re-located.

Over the years, Museveni has developed a culture of using foreigners to execute his personal deals in the disguise of ” These are Investors”. This rooming deal is typically a Museveni deal, that is aimed at using the strategically located prison land for his personal gains.

We all know that one of his daughters pastors a church in this area and it is not strategically right for his daughters church to be in the same sentence with Luzira Prison.
