In the months of October and November most of the parents were seen on their social media pages offering success cards in form of money to their primary seven candidates and the candidates received these success cards happily and promising to make it in the PLE 2023.
We have been following these social media handles where most of these gifts were posted but its unfortunate that most of parents have not posted the success of their children since the release of PLE on 25th January this year. Should we think these candidates failed, or their parent are not posting their success because of the haters????. It’s ok to motivate our children in a whatever way we can, but in private manner.
HERE ARE THE WORST DISTRICTS IN 2023 PLE;
They include; Kibuku (31.5%), Madi Okollo (31.5%), Dokolo (28.9%), Namisindwa (28.9) and Kween (28.4%.
THE BEST DISTRICTS IN 2023 PLE
According to the released PLE results, it has been confirmed that, Kampala was the best and top performing district in PLE 2023/204. It has the most schools with candidates that scored aggregates 4 to 6, and had the best overall school being Greenhill Academy, followed by Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road Pri. school, Kabojja Junior Pri. school and Hormisdallen Mixed Day and Boarding Pri. School
The second top and best performing district in primary Leaving Exams in PLE 2023/2024 was Wakiso. This also had a number of schools with candidates that scored highly with 4 to 6 aggregates. They include; St. Savior Kisubi Pri. School as the first, Budo Junior School second, Mother Care Bunamwaya Pri. School and Hillside Pri. School
The third best performing district was Masaka Municipality. This got many candidates with aggregates 4 to 6. And the best performing schools in Masaka were; Bright Grammar Pri. school, Leo’s Junior Pri. school, K.Y Day and Boarding Pri. School, Uganda Martyrs Katwe Pri. school, Victory Learning Pri. School and the rest followed.
Fourth top best performing district and schools PLE 2023/2024 was Mukono Municipality. This also got a lot of aggregate 4 to 6. And the top performing schools in Mukono include; Namiryango Junior Boys Pri. school, Namagunga Pri. Boarding school, Seeta Parents Pri. School, Victorious Pri. school and St. Agnes Girls’ Pri. school Naggalama
Those are the main top performing districts and schools, others that performed well include; Ntungamo district, Sheema district, Mbarara district, Rukungiri Municipality, Rakai, Mbale Municipality, and Fort Portal then the rest followed these major ones.
