SAD: Chance Nalubega’s Daughter Died While Giving Birth.

News came in to our desk indicating the death of Chance Nalubega’s daughter , who died as she was giving birth. Many people and companies in the entertainment industry have come out to sympathise with the Munffude Emboozi singer on the loss of her daughter.

In our country Uganda, everyday, close to15 mothers die everyday while giving birth. This clearly shows you that maternal deaths in our country are increasing with the mortality ratio being estimated at 336 deaths per 100,000 live births, according to the 2022 report by the National Library of Medicine.

The death of Chance Nalubega’s daughter came into lime light just because her mother is a known celebrity, but many young and grown up mothers are silently dying due to preventable factors and their inability to access quality maternal health care.

We will continue to call upon the Ministry of Health and other responsible stakeholders not to stop working towards improving the quality of maternal health services especially in government facilities, with a strong and high quality supervision among the private practitioners in the general health and maternal business.

Our Condolences To Nalubega and the Late’s Entire Family.
