It’s now for months since the Queen of Busoga Kingdom Her Royal Highness Jovia Mutesi is set to address the Kingdoms subjects since her coming to the palace. Mutesi, who was on November 18, 2023, during a historic Busoga royal wedding, shall today Friday February 23, 2024 say a word to children of the soil and the world at large.
In an anticipated colourful event to be organized at the Igenge palace in Bugembe Jinja city, invited guests are currently preparing their African attires, including kanzu and gomesi, to attend the royal function.
Busoga today has learnt that the Inhebantu shall be elaborating on the different projects aiming to transform the regions socio-economic development. The queen comes to mother Busoga, a region with extreme poverty, school dropout, and early pregnancies, among others.
