EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE IN JAPAN: An Electric Spoon That Adds Salt To Food Is Now Available For Purchase.

Everyday is a new day for new technology, No more adding table salt in our food.

A battery – powered , plastic and metal spoon is intended for those who find it difficult to cut back on salt , according to studies, it encourages healthy eating and it intensifies the flavour of food.

Consuming too much salt has been connected to an increase in high blood pressure, strokes, and other disorders.

Adults in Japan typically ingest 10g of salt per day, which is twice the amount advised by the World Health Organization.

The Electric Salt Spoon concentrates sodium ion molecules on the tongue by running a small electric current through its tip.

This increases the food’s apparent saltiness by 1.5 times, according to its Japanese manufacturer, Kirin.

The company, which is expanding into the healthcare industry from its main beer sector, stated that users can select their chosen intensity from four distinct levels.

In 2021, they conducted a survey and found that people who try to cut less on salt frequently complain that their food tastes bland.

Utilizing a rechargeable lithium battery, the spoon has a weight of 60g.

Would you buy this spoon to replace the table salt?
