Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi has launched a scathing legal attack against seasoned investigative journalist Dean Lubowa Ssava, accusing him of orchestrating a vicious smear campaign that has left his reputation in tatters.

Ssenyonyi, who once shared a professional camaraderie with Lubowa as colleagues at the same media house NTV, now alleges that his erstwhile peer has turned against him, leveraging his platform as proprietor of online TV station TV10GanoMazima to disseminate malicious falsehoods that have eroded his standing among discerning members of the public

The accusations have set the stage for a high-stakes showdown between two former media allies, with Ssenyonyi seeking redress for the alleged damage inflicted upon his character.

In a damning legal complaint, Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi, represented by a team of lawyers led by the formidable George Musisi of Pace Advocates, has accused Investigative journalist Dean Lubowa Saava of unleashing a devastating defamation campaign against him.
