Daudi Mugema Dies in Gulu Hotel While Seeking Help for Ongoing Health Struggles

Singer Daudi Mugema has died under mysterious circumstances while staying in a hotel room in Gulu. He was reportedly in the city to seek financial assistance for ongoing medical and personal needs.

Sources close to him say Mugema had hoped to meet General Salim Saleh during his visit. Sadly, he was found unresponsive in his room and later pronounced dead.

Mugema had spent the last few years fighting for his health—and his life. In 2024, he was diagnosed with cancer and traveled to Turkey for treatment. Later, a serious condition involving a swollen limb required surgery in India. Though he made a slow recovery and thanked well-wishers publicly in March 2025, the toll on him—physically, emotionally, and financially—remained heavy.

Despite his struggles, Mugema stayed hopeful. His trip to Gulu was yet another effort to find support and rebuild his life.

News of his death has left many shocked and heartbroken. His voice, once full of life and spirit, now falls silent—leaving behind memories, music, and a story of resilience.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of death. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
