These members were a result from the campaign unveiled in 2022 led by Fred Nyanzi and other members in the party to expand the party up to the sub regions, LC’s and parishes .

Kyagulanyi informed the members that ”i want you to know that if you joined us to gain positions, you are in the wrong place. In a disappointed voice he added that many have come and pretended to be apart of us and we gave our trust but they betrayed us .

Kyagulanyi added that they are we going to identify them by their actions and services, not by their lips, he also reminded them not to forget to advocate for the rights of the 28 prisoners who were arrested and denied bail since November 2022.

The leader of opposition Joel Ssenyonyi informed the new entrants that the party doors will always remain open to receive new members who won’t side with the NRM government as some of the previous members did.

“Welcome new members to the party but please do not betray us” the LOP added.
