The National Budget Month For The Financial Year 2024/25 To Be Launched Today.

The Ministry of Fiance, Planning and Economic Development is today set to launch the National Budget month for the financial year 2024/25.

This years theme is ;” Full monetization of the Ugandan economy through commercial agriculture, industrialization, expanding and broadening services, digital transformation, and market access.”

Different stakeholders will be participating in this launch as they give their reviews and other budget and allocation alternatives .

This launch of the budget month is aimed at creating awareness about government priorities and strategies for FY 2024/25 and also provide accountability to the citizens on the key achievements for the current financial year.

Last week, the Parliament of Uganda approved the National Budget for the Financial year 2024/25 and it amounted to a total of UGX 72.136 trillion.
