Parliament Shows it’s Support In The Coming Kabaka’s Birthday Run.

Today the 2nd of April 2024, the Parliament ofUganda headed by the speaker of Parliament Hon. Anitah Among have paid a courtesy visit to the Katikiro of Buganda Oweek. Charles Peter Mayiga to show their support to the coming Kabaka’s birthday run that is set for the 7th of April 2024.

This was at the invitation of the Premier of Buganda as a way of mobilising more people to participate i this run that is aimed at reducing HIV/AIDS infections in Uganda.

Parliament has contributed UGX 50 Million to this cause.

This years theme is “Men are stars in the fight against HIV/AIDS to save the Girl Child”, which is aimed at putting men at the fore front of fighting this disease.
