Strengthening Bilateral Relations: Kenyatta’s Visit to Museveni

The visit of former Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta to President Yoweri Museveni at State House Entebbe on April 24, 2025, signifies the strong bilateral relations between Uganda and Kenya. This meeting, which followed the Annual Guild Leaders’ Summit at Makerere University, highlights the commitment of both countries to fostering cooperation in various areas.

During their meeting, Kenyatta briefed Museveni on the peace process in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, where he is the facilitator of the East African Community-led Nairobi Peace Process.
