Kalifah Aganaga Congratulates Elias Luyimbaazi Nalukoola on Kawempe North Win
In a display of sportsmanship and respect for the democratic process, Kalifah Aganaga Mukiibi Sadat, the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) contestant in the Kawempe North by-election, has congratulated Elias Luyimbaazi Nalukoola on his decisive victory.

Nalukoola, who ran on the National Unity Platform (NUP) ticket, secured an impressive 17,764 votes, cementing his position as the new Member of Parliament (MP) for Kawempe North. Aganaga, a renowned musician-turned-politician, was one of the contenders in the highly contested by-election.

The by-election was held to fill the vacancy left by the late Hon. Muhammad Ssegirinya, who passed away earlier this year. The election saw several candidates from different political parties vying for the seat, but in the end, Nalukoola emerged victorious.

Aganaga’s congratulatory message is a testament to his commitment to democracy and his respect for the will of the people. By acknowledging Nalukoola’s win, Aganaga demonstrates his ability to put aside partisan interests and prioritize the greater good.

Nalukoola’s victory is seen as a significant win for the NUP, which has been gaining momentum in recent years. As the new MP for Kawempe North, Nalukoola is expected to work tirelessly to address the concerns of his constituents and promote the development of the area.

The people of Kawempe North have spoken, and their choice is clear. As the dust settles on the by-election, all eyes are now on Nalukoola to deliver on his campaign promises and make a positive impact on the community.
