Derrick Kakooza, the talented Ugandan striker, has just completed a move to KF Terbuni in the Albanian third tier. This marks a significant step in his comeback journey, having been out of action since parting ways with Ethiopia Coffee FC in 2023.

Kakooza’s international recognition began after his impressive performance at the U20 AFCON tournament in 2021, where he emerged as the top scorer with five goals. His career has taken him to various clubs, including Valmiera in Latvia, Finland’s KUPs, Egyptian side ENPPI SC, and Ethiopia Coffee in 2023.
Interestingly, Kakooza had previously attempted to join Belgian top-flight side Standard Liège, but unfortunately, the move didn’t materialize due to unsuccessful trials. Nevertheless, he’s now focused on reviving his career with KF Terbuni, and we wish him all the best!
