The recently held tour of the Eastern districts of Uganda by Robert Kyagulanyi together with his close loyalists in NUP, henchmen, and hatchet men did not live to the hype and billing given the circumstances upon which it was conducted.
First of all, the timing of the tour was wrong…given the fact there have been alot of contraversies, infights, black mail and counter accusations amongst the top party executives pitting Mathias Mpuuga against Rober Kyagulanyi with accusations of corruption flame burning in the house of NUP which itself proclaims fighting NRM instigated graft.
This unresolved issue which has now resonated into a BLAME GAME has left the shrinking NUP party faithfuls in a tight corner with low confidence in NUP leadership and activities. The masses haven’t gone over with it, and by such the reception spoke louder than words…
Then the increased slandery language and blackmail recently exhibited after the Masaka burial confrontation between Abed Bwanika and Robert Kyagulanyi greatly had a negative impact, as Bobi Wine was, told off to stop his firebase habits of having a go at his competitors. It was shameful of them, as they washed their dirty limen in public…
To add salt into the wound, Bobi Wine in his TRADE MARK poor communication skills attacked Mrs Mariam Wangadya the chairperson Uganda Human Rights Commission failed to present his case, instead he attacked the office and the person he had come to seek help from.
This was an own goal for the NUP leaders whose leafership skills and image were tainted further. To add salt into the wound, Mrs Wangadya blasted and undressed his FAT EGO, called the office security to throw him out. This was a total embarrassment of him, Principal taking his fame to such limitless levels to be deflatedby a mere woman in her small office, that is Mrs Wangadya….
With the lack of smart strategists, and advisers he decided to erase such events befalling him by deciding to carry out a tour so that he can gauge his popularity by pulling big crowds. It was like a Litmus test for him to know if he can still pull large crowds. The myopism of his trusted leuitenants like Rubongoya, Katana, Joel Ssenyonyi couldn’t wisely advise him to halt the tour idea, and fences with his party competitors.
How could a SANE, BRAVE, and UNIFYING head of family leave his own house catching on fire and decides to go partying? Infact, he enjoys such tours like all saw him while in Kamuli, where he kept dancing to his own music sang on top of his powerful car, smiling from ear to ear like a proverbial church mouse. So what kind of a leader is with no priorities to handle? Getting a big crowd for the media makes miracles to him…for donestic and foreign consumption that he is still a force to reckon with.
That is the leader Ugandans do trust to lead them? He is good for showbiz not government business…On the otherhand, Ugandans are facing biting poverty across the country, there is less time to listen to Ghetto Music and empty slogans of removing the dictator before next elections.
They had to mind about daily struggle of looking for means to survive than hobnobbing with a bunch of firebase marijuana addicted foot soldiers, dressed in RED Ugandans seem to be getting tired with.the same tricks, stories, Bobi Wine was to take partbof the BOOTY he has earned from Western funders in Europe and the USA.
He doesn’t take anyrhing to his fans, not even visiting poorly mauntained schools and hospitals, for him and his entourage, its loud music and slandery rhetorism. Bobi Wine has come to know that he has fooled Ugandans for a very long time but not ALL TIME. And his intended intentions of the tour were not fulfilled at all as the issue of Mathias Mpuuga and himself is stil a thorn in his back, the NUP supporters are shrinking day by day, TIK TOK famously used by him against his opponents is the very tool hitting him hard, the issue of his support for Honosexuality is a big block to to him, then his recent attacks a popular upxoming music star Alien Skin has shown the public how bad hearted and selfish he is It gives the Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and many others air play by repeating their narrative about the true nature and character of principal.
There is a saying that Calm seas dont make a good sailer, so Bobi Wine must learn to sail on rough seas for him to be a good leader, unlike in the last election where he enjoyed public sympathy, this time the political weather and landscape have all changed. Make no mistake, Ugandans are not fools.
The NUP ship steered by its Captain Bobi Wine is sinking slowly but sure and the occupants onto it have started noticing its destination. A small crack on a giant ship always leads to fatalitoes and ship wreckage….
While the NUP Captain is accustomed to taking big issues as minor, bearing in mind that humans today think they yesterday which is not true. Even Jesus Christ who died for his followers could be surprised when his long awaited second coming is negative.
Christians have changed over time, there are many gamblers, homosexuals, prostitutes, thieves, fraudstars across the spectrum, from churches to the parliament and local markets. Jesus might not be taken seriously with changing times, and ofcourse he will be forced to accept the new, realities… getting a smart phone and joining TIKTOK, WHATSAPP, Facebook etc.. What about Bobi Wine?
Things cant be the same again…. 2016 in Kyadondo MP seat, 2021 failed presidential bid, and he wants 2026 to be president good he has been president of the Ghetto, yes that is his perimeter wall. Who is fooling who? And Enough is enough..
