THE FIGHT FOR FAIRNESS: Growing Concern Over Foreigners Taking Over Uganda.

In recent years, Uganda has been known for its welcoming attitude towards refugees from various countries, such as Somalia, Ethiopia, Sudan, and China, among others. However, some Ugandan citizens are now expressing concerns about the growing presence of these foreigners in their country.

According to local reports, refugees from these nations have been taking over a significant portion of Uganda’s land, businesses, and other resources. This has led to a sense of unease among the original citizens, who feel that they are being marginalised in their own country.

One example of this issue is the increasing number of foreigners residing in the capital city, which has led to a shortage of space and resources for Ugandan nationals. Furthermore, many Ugandans are now forced to seek land in remote areas or villages, as the cost of acquiring plots in the city has skyrocketed due to foreign investment.

Additionally, there are concerns that the foreigners have been granted certain rights that are not available to the original citizens. For instance, they can now press charges and arrest Ugandans in their own country, which has led to a sense of injustice among the local population.

As a result, Ugandan citizens are urging their government and members of Parliament, particularly the Speaker, to address this issue promptly. They believe that the original citizens should be prioritised in their own country and that foreigners should not be allowed to take advantage of their hospitality.

In conclusion, the concerns raised by Ugandan citizens about the growing influence of foreign refugees in their country highlight the need for a balanced approach in managing migration and ensuring that the rights and well-being of both the original population and new arrivals are protected. The government must find a way forward to maintain harmony and prevent potential tensions from escalating further.

HOW BEST DO YOU THINK THE GOVERNMENT OF UGANDA CAN GO ABOUT THIS ISSUE?

Well it looks like hospitality had its consequences
If only the government tells it foreigners to put atleast 55-60% of their employees hu are locals and no just as gate men but reasonable jobs
“And to make sure they follow up the laws they put”
