NORTHERN GAZA MASSACRE: Civilians Killed Seeking Food Aid.

Over a hundred people lost their lives in a tragic event in northern Gaza, where Israeli soldiers fired shots on Thursday, causing chaos among hungry Palestinian civilians who were seeking food aid from trucks, as reported by Palestinian officials and witnesses.

Eyewitnesses described a horrific scene where crowds had congregated around aid trucks in western Gaza City, hoping to receive food supplies. The situation turned deadly when Israeli forces began shooting, leading to a stampede that resulted in many individuals being crushed by the trucks.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 112 individuals were killed and over 760 were injured in the incident, marking it as one of the deadliest events since the conflict in Gaza started. The Israeli military, however, presented a different perspective on the events and stated that they could not verify the death toll.

As the death toll in Gaza surpasses 30,000 and over half a million people facing starvation according to United Nations agencies, the incident served as a grim reminder of the desperate situation in the region. Negotiations between Israel and Hamas were at a critical juncture as the tragedy unfolded.

The chaos erupted early on Thursday as aid trucks arrived at Haroun Al Rasheed Street in western Gaza City. Khader Al Za’anoun, witnesses described how the peaceful distribution of aid quickly turned into a nightmare once the Israeli forces opened fire.
