Who Wants Professor Badru Kateregga Killed? Shocking Claims of Family Conflict.

Professor Badru Kateregga, founder of Kampala University is at the center of a dark family controversy. His daughter, Sharifah Nandawula, recently took to the airwaves on TV10’s Gano Mazima program, revealing shocking details and defending her father against what she claims are fabricated reports that aim to tarnish his reputation and harm his health.

Sharifah Nandawula Kateregga

It all began when we discussed his father’s scandals, so she immediately jumped on TV10 Gano Mazima and accused us of being disrespectful to his family by putting his father in the news.

She also told us that we were not allowed to discuss the professor, forgetting that they were the first to do so by fabricating a story about their father being beaten severely on his head with multiple wounds, putting bandages on him, and snatching him from his wife to take him to the hospital. They had been hiding their father for more than two months, claiming that she was abducting him, but we later revealed that it was all false.

The Gano Mazima investigative team conducted its own research to verify the circulating reports. On the very day it was claimed that Professor Kateregga was gravely injured, he was captured on camera by Gano Mazima journalists walking steadily, speaking on the phone, and interacting with family members before entering a car in his home.

The footage appeared to disprove claims of severe injuries, fueling questions about the authenticity of the initial story.

This is the call we got from his daughter, Nandawula Katerega, who was told us everything.

In her voice, she revealed how his father had been beaten to the point of brain surgery and the plan to kill him.

Professor Kateregga’s life in danger

As this dramatic saga unfolds, Ugandans are left wondering who would want Professor Kateregga silenced and why. What secrets lie behind these allegations? What will become of the powerful legacy he built in education and interfaith dialogue?
