HOSPITAL: RESIDENTS ARE COMPLAINING ABOUT THE EXORBITANT HOSPITAL CHARGES.

Residents in Kampala and other areas are complaining over the exorbitant charges they face after visiting MULAGO hospital.

Residents say that they are wondering whether the hospital is Government or private since everything at the hospital is for cash.

“when you aren’t well financially,you can’t get health services from the medical professionals.acase in point u can never go for scan when you can’t manage 300000 uganda shillings,” the residents said.

mulago hospital started in 1913 by sir Albert Cook a British Missionary with the aim of curing some common diseases that had come a problem to missionaries and the diseases include malaria and small pox.

Mulago hospital hosts at least 3000 patients and it serves people from all 135 District in Uganda and other out side countries.

but we still have un answered questions IS MULAGO HOSPITAL PRIVATE OR GOVERNMENT????
