UNITED FORCES OF CHANGE: SIX OPPOSITION PARTIES UNITE A HEAD OF 2026.

On Tuesday, six opposition parties made a joint presser at the FDC Katonga offices. These parties were Uganda Progressive Party, National Alliance For Transformation, Uganda People’s Congress, Alliance For National Transformation,National Unity Platform and The FDC Katonga Faction Led by Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.

In her speech, Hon. Winnie Kiiza highlighted how the regime has continued to violate the rights of Ugandans with impunity, the continued abductions, torture and illegal detention of Ugandans, massive land grabbing, high poverty levels, increasing prices of commodities and the bad state of our economy. All other speakers from other parties emphasised the need to stay united and stop pursing selfish ambitions.

The news coming in today morning, police had been deployed at the homes of these opposition leaders, following the peaceful demonstration they had planned to have today, on the bad state of Kampala Roads. Some National Unity Platform leaders have been seen planting banana trees, yams and other plants in the pot holes of different roads in Kampala and they also encouraged people to do the same in their different localities.
