President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s Commissioning of the Bunyoro Skilling Hub: A Commitment to Empowering Uganda’s Youth

On a momentous occasion, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni reaffirmed his dedication to empowering Uganda’s youth by commissioning the Bunyoro Skilling Hub. This initiative is a crucial component of his broader vision to promote vocational training, financial empowerment, and economic transformation in Uganda.

Located in Kiryana Myebanyakalongo Village, Kimengo Sub-County, Masindi District, the Bunyoro Zonal Presidential Skilling Hub is designed to equip young people with practical skills, fostering innovation, industrialization, and job creation. This hub is one of 19 zonal industrial skilling hubs established across Uganda, with the ambitious goal of training over 12,000 youths annually.

The commissioning of the Bunyoro Skilling Hub underscores President Museveni’s recognition of the critical role that vocational training and financial empowerment play in Uganda’s economic growth. By providing young people with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in various industries, the government aims to create a workforce that can drive economic development and prosperity.
