Nambi’s Nomination Celebration: A Show of Support in Akamweesi

Faridah Nambi, the NRM candidate, celebrated her nomination with a procession to Akamweesi, where she met her enthusiastic supporters. This procession was part of her victory lap after being nominated, and it’s clear that she has strong support from her constituents.

Interestingly, Nambi’s procession wasn’t limited to Akamweesi. Earlier, she had defied Electoral Commission guidelines by holding a procession from the EC Ntinda offices to the city center, accompanied by hundreds of Boda-boda riders clad in NRM party colors.
