GOVERNMENT WARNS ABOUT HOLIDAY SCHOOLING.

As the first term which started on 5th Feb and is expected to close on 2nd may,the state minister of primary education Hon. Joyce Morik Kadacu addressed the press on how the term has been.

 Hon . Joyce Morik warned the school against holiday schooling because the holiday is meant to be a resting period for the students.

This was after being informed about the term schools normally extends during the holiday period.

She added at the students have one week of resting and connecting with their parents.

She encouraged the parents  to protect and also guard their daughters  to reduce on rates of  early pregnancies

Parents shud instil in  their sons and daughters  the spiritual  being , cultural morns ,morals, and social etiquette to enable in the glowing of the children.

They shud also monitor and supervise the children social media usage for their well being.

We didn’t register any strikes in schools which indicates that our children are well behaved and also she knowledge the breakout of conjunctivitis or red eyes and the fire breakouts experienced by some schools in busira district.

“As we look forward to term two, some schools shud improve on their facilitates especially the boarding schools to create spaces in the domontaries for the well being of the students”, Minister said.

Morik also informed the public at Uganda will participate in the inaugural national play  at will be held at Kololo independence grounds  on 30th April  where the first lady Janet Kataha  Museveni will be the main celebrant

The main theme for the day will be ’introducing the concept of play and earning through play’.

This is mainly to educate the stakeholders the importance of play in the development of the child.

Parents are also advised to attend the event.
