The All Africa Festival (AAF) is set to return for its 3rd edition in Abu Dhabi from the 2nd to the 4th of February with Uganda’s Eddy Kenzo featuring as one of the headlining acts.
Kenzo will be performing alongside A-list artists like Omah Lay, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Tekno, Skales, Kofi Olomide, and Nora Fatehi during UAE’s largest celebration of African cultures.
The event promises a three-day extravaganza blending global music icons, local talents, and DJs, all within the heart of Abu Dhabi’s landmark family entertainment destination at Etihad Park on Yas Island, with UAE Africa Connect (UAEAC) as its strategic partner.
With African music genres like Amapiano and Afrobeats gaining global popularity, the All Africa Festival aims to build on previous successes, attracting residents and tourists to an annual celebration of African culture against the culturally diverse backdrop that the UAE is known for.
Festival-goers are in for a treat with a diverse range of offerings, including pan-African cuisine, live art displays, and creative installations. The event will showcase fashion exhibits by UAE-based designers, creating a mosaic of experiences paying homage to Africa’s spirit and its global diaspora.
Nina Olatoke, CEO and Co-Founder of the All Africa Festival expressed excitement about bringing the festival to Yas Island. “From humble beginnings in Dubai’s Creek Park in 2018, our history spans over five years of curating a festival that welcomes all nationalities to experience the heartbeat of Africa,” she said.
