Tik tok is a video sharing platform that was discovered and introduced by a Chinese internet entrepreneur 2Hang Yiming, born in April 1st 1983.
The tik tok story started in 2016, when the Chinese company Byte Dance launched an app called A ME that allowed users to create and share short videos.
Tik tok is commonly used by the people between the age of 13 to 60 years which means the content created should be attracting that age group.

Tik tok is available in over 160 countries and has over 1.1billion users and it has been downloaded over 220 million times in United States a lone.
Many people all over the world are using this platform for different activities, such as business, comedy, teaching lessons informing ,entertaining and many others.
According to @frictionvanlee (KASAKYA DAVID) a Ugandan artist, rapper, writer, performer and entertainer aged 22 years grown up in kisasi Ntinda, currently in Makindye Kampala Uganda said that tik tok is adding at least 80% on his carrier since his story of music has started flowing through tiktok.
@Frictionvanlee joined tik tok in 2021 with a few followers but due to his content most of the people have started following and contacting him for businesses.
He currently has 77.8k followers following 270 and 596.3k likes. Tik tok is promoting his music and what ever he does and with less investment.

In a few weeks ago @frictionvanlee made a mix with Acidic Vocals in the new trending song last chance and all of this was all a bout tik tok and if it wasn’t tik tok he would not even get a chance of having his voice in this song.
Tik tok is helping most of the people develop their talents without investing much since one can use 2000 shillings data than going to TV promoters who always charge lots of money.
Most of the people have come to discover what they can do and they have discovered that they can do lots and lots of things via tiktok.
On the other hand some people are misusing the platform by posting some content that is immoral.
