Becoming a Miss Uganda was my childhood dream, says Natasha Nyonyozi

Kampala Aug. 5—Miss Uganda 2024/25, Natasha Nyonyozi, says becoming a Miss Uganda has been her dream since she was 10years old and thanked her supporters for their encouragement.

In her post on X formally Twitter, after winning the Miss Uganda crown, Natasha Nyonyozi says “Overwhelmed with Gratitude! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported me on this journey to becoming Miss Uganda 2024/25!”.

Beauty Natasha Nyonyozi from Kabale, was Saturday August 3rd crowned Miss Uganda 2024/25 succeeding Hannah Karema Tumukunde, Miss Uganda 2023/24 at ceremony held at Kampala Sheraton Hotel. Suraya Umeimah Bashuaeb was crowned first runner-up while Joan Nabatanzi was crowned second runner-up.

Natasha Nyonyozi aged 23years, was contestant number 2 among the 28 finalists for the 2024/25 Miss Uganda title.

During the contest, she demonstrated her elegance, passion and confidence and at one time, her fellow contestants elected her as the president of the Miss Uganda class of 2024/25.       

“With this Crown, I aim to transform lives, become a voice for teenage mothers, young girls without access to education and those lacking sexual and reproductive health products and services”, Natasha Nyonyozi pledged.

The 2024/25 Miss Uganda is a strong advocate for children with special needs, especially children with autism. She has been involved in charity work supporting this cause over the years.

Natasha Nyonyozi is a graduate of Coventry University in England with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting and Finance. She is currently running a beauty parlour, Girl Hive, at Kisementi.
