Dubai Submerged In Floods.

The UEA was flooded with a one year worth rain in a day which resulted into floods on the streets of Dubai.

This happened on Monday morning which spread through up to midnight.These heavy rainfalls are said to be companied by thunderstorms which led to the lightening in the country .

The floods spread to other areas like Bahram, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

The desert country rarely receives such rain but this has affected mostly the city of Dubai , the world’s busiest flight line the Emirates was flooded which made the operations on the aircraft paralysed.

According to the meteorological data collected from Dubai, the airport was flooded which caused a delay in their services due to the unfavourable weather conditions and some flights where shifted to Tuesday midnight.

The aircraft was seen flooded in pool of water which made it difficult to conduct any travel and this has resulted into shifting the flights and the congestion of passengers since they would not check in or check out of the airport .

The city of Dubai was flooded which forced people to leave their cars on the roads in pools of water, the schools and offices were closed and people were advise to work from their remote homes.

Pools had lapped on the taxiways as the aircraft landed which resulted into halting arrivals as passengers struggled to reach the terminal.

The Dubai international airport on Wednesday morning said it had runout of limited options since the aircraft crew couldn’t reach the airfield.

Emirates had on Tuesday suspended any passenger checking through the Dubai international airport on wednesday because there was operational challenge resulting from incessant rain

The police drove through the flooded streets of Dubai shading their emergence lights shining across the darkened areas as lightning was striking up to Burj Khalifa the tallest building in the world. Also the city’s Manuel metro system is also down due the lighting affect.

This rainfall has not only affected Dubai but it is also in Qatar which is reportedly to have killed around 18 people as the search is still ongoing.

UAE is a desert country which rarely receives rainfall of this capacity in just one day.
