Bobi Wine has tasked government to release Dr Kizza Besigye.

In a caucus meeting of the opposition at parliament of Uganda Kyagulanyi said the president of Uganda Gen. Yoweri Museveni uses the military court martial as a tool to persecute the opposition supporters.

Bobi Wine condemn the arrest of Dr. Kizza Besigye and the ongoing trial of Besigye in the general military court martial.

The opposition caucus signed a joint statement in solidarity of condemning the ongoing trials of Dr. Besigye and Hajji Obed Kamulegeya who where abducted from Kenya by the Uganda security.

Kyagulanyi says that the  abduction of Besigye from Kenya to Uganda is a violation of international Law and east African community.

“As NUP together with other opposition leaders and members we stand to condemn that act”.

“At least Besigye should be charged in civil courts but not in military court martial, however all are bogus charges” Bobi said.

The opposition causes meeting follows recent the arrest of Dr. Besigye and Hajji Obed Kamulegeya who where abducted from Kenya and being charged in Uganda general military court martial on cases of Label and illegal position of gun and other military weapons.

Martha Karua the Kenyan senior council who is said to be the lead council in Besigye’s case hasn’t been granted a Ugandan lawyers practicing certificate, however other Ugandan lawyers led by Lord mayor Erias Lukwago under Lukwago and company Advocate are set to confront the court martial at Makindye to secure the accused bail.
