Luyimbaazi Nalukoola Set for Parliamentary Swearing-In Ceremony

Luyimbaazi Nalukoola is indeed set to be sworn in as the Member of Parliament for Kawempe North today, March 26, 2025, at noon. This follows the Electoral Commission’s official gazetting of his victory in the by-election, where he secured 17,764 votes.

Speaker of Parliament Anita Among confirmed the swearing-in ceremony would take place in her chambers, congratulating Nalukoola on his victory ². Nalukoola’s win marks a significant development in Kawempe North’s political landscape, and his entry into parliament is expected to strengthen representation for his constituency.
