Portugal Turn It Around To Book Their Spot In The Semi-Finals

Portugal has secured a spot in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals after a thrilling 5-3 aggregate win over Denmark. The Portuguese team had to overcome a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, and they did so in dramatic fashion, winning 5-2 in extra time in the second leg.

Cristiano Ronaldo, despite missing a penalty in the 6th minute, played a crucial role in the team’s comeback. The Portuguese captain equalized in the 72nd minute, making it 2-1 on the night. However, Denmark regained the lead, forcing Portugal to push for another equalizer. Francisco Trincao scored in the 86th minute to send the match into extra time, where Portugal sealed the win with two more goals.
