Martha Buried Today, Family Seeks Answers After 23-Year-Old Woman’s Mysterious Death at Kampala Nightclub

Martha Ahumuza’s tragic death has left her family and community in shock. The 23-year-old had visited Mezo Noir nightclub in Kampala to see a friend, but the evening took a devastating turn when she fainted and collapsed. Despite efforts to save her, Martha was pronounced dead, leaving behind a grieving family and many unanswered questions.

Martha’s father, Seth Murali, shared his heartbreak at her burial in Mbarara, revealing that doctors had found a crack in her head and bleeding in her brain. The cause of her death remains unknown, pending a police report. Murali urged the public to refrain from spreading false information, which could disrupt the ongoing investigation.

Two suspects, Edward Mugabo and his brother Joseph Kalenzi, have been arrested in connection with Martha’s death. The police are treating the case as suspected poisoning, although the exact circumstances surrounding her death are still unclear.

As the investigation continues, Martha’s family and friends are left to mourn the loss of a vibrant young woman. Judith Heard, a Ugandan socialite, reflected on Martha’s tragic death, emphasizing the importance of personal safety, especially in social settings.
