Uganda Prisons Service Recruitment: Enhancing Correctional Services

The Uganda Prison Service is embarking on recruitment exercise to fill 402 vacant positions for warders and wardresses on a replacement basis. This development is a significant step towards strengthening the correctional system in Uganda, ensuring effective management and rehabilitation of inmates.

According to Uganda Prisons spokesperson Frank Baine, interested candidates are invited to submit handwritten applications this month. To be eligible, prospective applicants must meet the requirements and qualifications outlined on the Uganda Prisons Service website or contact the service directly for more information.

The recruitment of new warders and wardresses os crucial in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the correctional system. These personnel play a vital role in ensuring the safe custody, rehabilitation and reintegration of offenders into society. By filling these vacant positions the Uganda Prisons Service aims to enhance it’s capacity to deliver effective correctional services.
