Prince Daudi Ggolooba, Son of Sir Edward Muteesa II, Passes Away After Brave Battle with Illness

It was a somber day in the kingdom of Buganda as news spread like wildfire of the passing of Prince Daudi Ggolooba, the son of the late Sir Edward Muteesa II, the Kabaka (King) of Buganda.

Prince Daudi, a charismatic and well-respected member of the royal family, had been battling illness for some time. Despite his frail health, he remained a pillar of strength and inspiration to his family and the people of Buganda.

Sadly, Prince Daudi’s health took a turn for the worse, and he was rushed to Nsambya Hospital, a renowned medical facility in Kampala. The medical team at St Francis Nsambya Hospital worked tirelessly to save his life, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his illness.

As the news of his passing spread, the kingdom was plunged into mourning. The Buganda royal family, led by the current Kabaka, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, was devastated by the loss.

Prince Daudi’s life was marked by his dedication to the kingdom and its people. He was a strong advocate for the preservation of Buganda’s cultural heritage and traditions. He worked tirelessly to promote the kingdom’s interests and was a vocal voice on issues affecting the kingdom.

The prince’s passing has left a void in the kingdom that will be difficult to fill. His family, friends, and the people of Buganda will deeply miss him.

As the kingdom begins to make preparations for Prince Daudi’s funeral, the outpouring of grief and condolences has been overwhelming. The prince’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the many contributions he made to the kingdom.

In a statement, the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, described Prince Daudi as a “patriot and a true son of Buganda.” He praised the prince’s dedication to the kingdom and its people, saying that his passing has left a “huge gap” in the kingdom.

As the kingdom mourns the loss of Prince Daudi, it also celebrates his life and legacy. His memory will continue to inspire and motivate the people of Buganda to work towards a brighter future.
