Ugandan music icon Bebe Cool has opened up about his childhood, revealing that not growing up with his father was a blessing in disguise. In a candid interview on NBS TV’s People And Power show, Moses Ssali stage name Bebe Cool shared how his mother single-handedly raised 10 children, including him, despite being a poor woman.

Bebe Cool credits his mother’s resilience and determination as the driving force behind his success. He explained that seeing his father Hajj Jaberi Bindandi Ssali a legendary sports manager and a seasoned politician who served as a minister for local government, live a comfortable life with another family motivated him to work hard and achieve his goals. This experience instilled in him a strong desire to succeed and provide for his own family.

The singer, who is now a successful entrepreneur and father of five, emphasized that he doesn’t regret not having a relationship with his father while growing up. Instead, he sees it as an opportunity that fueled his ambition and drive to succeed.
