Miguna Labels Museveni A Drunken Hyena In Response To Recent Rulling

Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan, has unleashed scathing criticism at Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, labeling him a “drunken hyena” in response to Museveni’s comments on the recent Supreme Court ruling. Miguna’s verbal attack challenges Museveni’s actions dating back to 1986 when he seized power by force as a civilian. Miguna emphasizes that Museveni should respect the Ugandan Supreme Court’s unanimous decision and promptly release opposition leader Kizza Besigye and his colleagues, who were allegedly abducted from Kenya and detained illegally in Uganda.

Miguna’s statements, made directly addressing Museveni on X, urge him to stop “rumbling like a drunken hyena.” This criticism comes amidst Museveni’s long-standing presidency, which has raised questions about power, governance, and the rule of law in Uganda. Museveni’s leadership has been marked by significant achievements, including improvements in infrastructure, education, and healthcare, but also controversy surrounding his extended rule and handling of opposition.
