I Got No Issues With Kadaga, Museveni Clarifies

President Museveni has denied rumors that he’s working against former Speaker Rebecca Kadaga in Busoga politics. He called these allegations “insulting” and emphasized his open relationship with Kadaga, regularly offering her advice. Museveni urged the community to disregard these rumors, describing them as a waste of time.

Museveni expressed his respect for Kadaga, noting their frequent discussions on various matters. He reiterated his support for her, emphasizing that he has no conflicts with her and fully backs her efforts.

The President also addressed concerns regarding development, jobs, and poverty in the Busoga sub-region. He emphasized the importance of individual wealth creation, citing successful farming models like Limoto farming in Pallisa.

Additionally, Museveni discussed issues related to wetlands, cattle farming, and sugar production. He encouraged the community to learn from successful farming models and promised to investigate the issue of sugarcane farmers not benefiting from their produce.

During his visit, Museveni toured the newly commissioned Abyssinia Steel Factory in Jinja City and received endorsement from the youths in Kamuli and Busoga as the sole candidate for presidency.
