Member of parliament Medard Lubega Ssegona kaly’amagwa challenged the former COSASE committee chairperson for poor performance.

Ssegona currently the COSASE chairperson as well as parliamentary member representing Busiro East constituency told TV10 ganomazima that Joel Ssenyonyi failed to present reports on many issues which includes Uganda Airlines financial public mismanagement.

Kaly’amagwa says that Joel Ssenyonyi Besekezi a member of parliament representing Nakawa east constituency as well as the leader of opposition and National unity platform ( NUP) party spokes person managed to produce only five reports in his term.

He adds that he has made a remarkable leadership in one year since he succeeded Joel Ssenyonyi as chairperson of COSASE committee of Uganda parliament.

“Hon. Medad Lubega Ssegona remarkable leadership has catapulted COSASE to new heights”.

“As the first chairperson to produce an impressive 19 reports within a single year”.

Ssegona says that dedication to transparency and accountability is truly commendable.

“This achievement is even more notable when compared to the predecessor (Joel Ssenyonyi) who  produced only 5 reports in two and half years of his term”.

The contrast in productivity and efficiency is a testament to Hon.Sseggona’s tireless efforts to ensure that COSASE operates with integrity and effectiveness” Medard Ssegona.
