Equal opportunity commission vs URA and other government agencies

equal opportunity commission

Equal opportunity commission wants government mandatory to regulate workers salaries in Uganda.

In a report of unfair and huge workers salaries the commission indicated more than 64 millions of Uganda revenue authority {URA} boss John Musinguzi monthly salary.

Report also indicates other bosses in URA who are getting huge salaries including other heads of government agencies who earns huge salaries.

Sofia Nalule the head of the commission urged government to stop salary imbalance in Uganda.

She says that many workers in Uganda earns less due to the exploitation of the few individuals.

“Government must come up through the financial intelligence department to investigate the remunerations of URA bosses and other ministries or authorities which includes Kampala capital city authority (KCCA)” Sofia Nalule.

“Equal opportunity commission only needs government authorisation to regulate Uganda’s workers salaries” She said.
