Tragically, Etonu’s life was cut short when she succumbed to a cardiac arrest, according to preliminary reports. The news of her passing has sent shockwaves throughout the country, with many taking to social media to pay their respects and offer condolences to her family.

The Electoral Commission, where Etonu served with distinction, is yet to issue an official statement on the matter. However, tributes have been pouring in from various quarters, with many praising her commitment to democracy and her tireless efforts to ensure the integrity of Uganda’s electoral process.

As the nation mourns the loss of a dedicated public servant, the circumstances surrounding Etonu’s passing remain unclear.
