He calls this a struggle, yes it is in words, but its not beneficial to the common Ugandan but his family, freinds and relatives…. How can he change a sitting regime with no concrete national programme like what the new Senegalese President used?..The desperation caused by NRM longstay in power, causing poverty, Corruption in every institution, orchestrated tribalism and nepotism are the core insuators of Kyagulanyi’s rise with Ganda nationalism playing in his favour … “Nanti Mwana waffee, a muganda must be supported”, Hahaha.
Robert Kyagulanyi “Bobi” is living in Luxury and extravagancy at the expense of the poor and suffering Ugandans duped by his past musical fame. All his brothers have built mansions worth bilions of money… So when he comes to power, how will it be? The dollars sourced from abroad and buy outs from the ruling regime make him cling on to NUP leadership by turning away potential contenders to replace him, besides there is no internal democracy in NUP, ebyo Bobi tasobyaa, is he a Pope or Kabaka? His conduits from the Ghetto are in things and call the shots, Eddie Yawe, Nubian Lee, Eddie Mutwe, Chairman Nyanzi, Mickie Wine etc. Do such heads have an idea on how to govern a mere village? Its survival for the fittest and i dont blame the angry and hungry ugandans for thinking Bobi, is the saviour to the promised land..
Circunstancial leaders such as Bobi tend to be aloof, dictatorial, unprincipled and wishful thinkers. A vivid example is how Kyagulanyi succeeded in pushing away Jose Chameleone from top NUP leadership knowing that Jose has more Masanyalaze as a legendary musician, so he had to fend him off so that he remains the only Bull in the kraal. Bobi is not the magical pill for Ugandas Political woes, he is artogant, selfish, nepotic, immoral and not befitting to hold the position of head of state. He is not a Presidential timber though, he is a tree but the wood is not worth, of a good leader.
All Political parties aim at attaining state power, and all their strategies, ideology, actions and words depict such a move. But NUP under Kyagulanyi has no such game plan, Instead all his talk.is to castigate, swear to rempve and demonise the dictator, something which is associated with Populism.Uganda needs a nationalistic leader, unifying,diplomatic, focused, enlightened, ethical and moral, sober, stategist and a good listener.
All the above are the exact opposite of Bobi Wine whose musical past in terms of persona and character stil drive his senses. Though he did shave off his trade mark Rastafarian hairdo and changed his dress codes to fashionable suits, Kyagulanyi is still the Mubanda (GOON) he was 20 years ago, and all his deeds, language, methods of work and thinking haven’t changed. The desperation of the population buouyed by lack of credible leaders is now Political capital for this NUP guru, which has paid dividends materially, brought fame and turned him into a sort of CULT leader with unsuspecting innocent, followers, whose loyalty to his leadership is unquestioned.
For one to cut a Mvule tree (M7), he needs to galvanise physical and mental energy, use a seasaw not a knife to cut it down. Such a big tree has deep and well stretched roots for its long survival. Bringing a flower pruner Like, Bobi to cut down Omuvule is Political suicide, thus Bobi is an exergeration driven by obsession, desperation, and irrationality…
Reason, common sense should prevail over Insanity, and his followers should stop hating those who act as driving mirrors reflecting on the bad side of Bobi’s persona and leadership qualities.It shouldnt be a TRIAL and ERROR, ugandan voters should not repeat mistakes made over time.
For Bobi, politics has changed him in all parameters,and made him forget the night, economy, he was running around social places as a musician, now he can sleep with bilions flowing on his bank accounts. Do the foot soldiers do the same?
