The Return Of Cameron: Why The David Cameron’s Comeback As UK Foreign Affairs Officer Is Threate To M7’s Stay In Power.

Inside David Cameron’s return: he’ll be on hand for ‘big decisions’ after secret deal by William Hague

Veteran political journalist Peter Kibazo has revealed that the reason why Dr. Kizza Besigye’s 2011 and 2016 manifestos were very strong and appealing to Ugandan voters was because United Kingdom’s Conservative Party hand a strong hand in their production.

It is believed that the new Lord Cameron, whom friends say had let it be known for a long time that he wanted another role in public life, had been approached by Rishi Sunak via William Hague, who served as foreign secretary in the Cameron-led coalition and is a political mentor of the current Prime Minister, about the possibility of returning to government.

Kibazo a renowned scholar said that he failed to read and analyse the manifestos of the 2021 presidential candidates because they were very shallow, without any analytical explanation of what really the candidates are going to do to help Uganda to move from where it is to another level socially, politically and economically perspectives.

Dr. Besigye’s blue eyed boy and also the former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) deputy Secretary General Harold Kaija also said that after the 2016 presidential elections, they held a private meeting with UK’s Conservative party to do assessment of the election and in that meeting, FDC leadership were lectured on the difference between a supporter and a member of a political party.

Both Kibazo and Kaija’s statements confirmed that UK’s Conservative party, which has been in UK’s leadership for the previous 14 years is not in good books with president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni thus it is no surprise that Annet Anita Among the Speaker of Parliament and one of Museveni’s strong political mobilizer who sources claim was assigned to weaken opposition parties in the country was sanctioned.

Chris Obore, parliament’s Director for Communication and Corporate Affairs claims that since Among took over parliament’s leadership, Museveni now has enough time to rest and concentrate on other serious national issues instead of spending time dealing with legislators who always tried to frustrate his political agenda through parliament.

Obore says this is all due to the successfully leadership in parliament of Among who has handled both the opposition and NRM MPs well.

Charles Rwomushana a controversial former State Operative told Tv10GanoMazima that the sanctions against Among were a direct message to President Museveni to sort himself out with the West and if he delays to toe their line, they are ready to frustrate him until he is out of power.

Rwomushana explained that the international community, especially the United Kingdom, knows very well State actors who are involved in corruption practices and are pocketing huge sums of money bigger than what Among took but they have never sanctioned them and are in good books with them.

He added that the United Kingdom has a lot of interest in Uganda and the entire Great Lakes Region and they cannot look on as Museveni tries to sabotage their interests, that is why they have started sending him warning shots.

He revealed that United Kingdom and United States of America have started looking at the new leadership they want in Uganda and it is the reason why they are always sending delegations to meet the newly appointed Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba because they know he will help them to achieve their interests in the region.

Rwomushana explained that the United Kingdom and United States are scared that the ongoing fights in Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) can spread to the entire region and create unrest which in turn will make the region a home for terrorists and put the entire world on tenterhooks.

Rwomushana insisted that the United Kingdom and United States of America have plans to use Gen. Muhoozi to solve the insecurity in DRC that is why they no longer want to waste their time on Museveni.

Kira Municipality legislator and also a former political journalist Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda revealed that Museveni knows very well what being in bad books with United Kingdom means to him and it is the reason why when he captured power in 1986, he told his close people to be very careful when dealing with matters concerning United Kingdom and South Africa.

However, for the last few years, Museveni has been having misunderstandings with the United Kingdom to the extent that when he met King Charles, UK authorities refused to give him the photos they took.

Highly placed State House sources told Tv10GanoMazima that Museveni was not surprised when he was briefed that Among was sanctioned by the United Kingdom.

Even though Speaker Among’s sanction papers were signed by United Kingdom’s Deputy Foreign Secretary Andrew Mitchell, highly placed sources in Uganda’s intelligence circles revealed to Tv10GanoMazima that Lord David Cameron the Senior Foreign Secretary was the man behind the move.

Among’s sanctions resulted from her involvement in corruption practices especially when she used her office to benefit from the iron sheet bonanza when government officials decided to loot what belonged to the vulnerable people of Karamoja.

She was sanctioned together with former Karamoja affairs Mary Gorreti Kitutu and her State Minister Agness Nandutu.

Information coming indicates that other western powers have also sanctioned them including the United Arab Emirates which has frozen their bank accounts.

However, intelligence sources said that United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak brought back Lord Cameron because of his heavy experience in foreign affairs matters and he has strongly helped him to diplomatically handle the issues of war between Russia and Ukraine.

Sources said that the epitome of Museveni and Cameron beef was during the deadly 2009 Buganda riots where Uganda’s intelligence briefed Museveni that there was an invisible foreign hand fueling the riots.

Joseph Tamale Mirundi who was then the Senior Presidential Press Secretary revealed that had never seen Museveni panic like he did during the Buganda riots.

He said that for the first time, he saw Museveni writing a brief to security commanders while his hand was shaking and was very angry and bitter.

The riot resulted from a government order stopping Buganda Kingdom King Ronald Muwenda Mutebi from visiting Bugerere County claiming that he was violating the culture leader’s laws.

Sources added that much of the money which Besigye used in his 2006, 2011 and 2016 was from the Conservative Party and Cameron was in the know.

It should be noted that when was still the United Kingdom Prime Minister, Lord Cameron together with Barack Obama the former president of United States of America and French former president Nicolas Sarkozy commanded the war that resulted into the overthrow and death of Muammar Gaddafi the former Libyan president and a close friend to President Museveni.

However, Museveni laughed at Gaddafi for dying without putting down any of his attackers’ fighter jets and warned that if such nonsense is declared on him, he will fight and leave Kampala down.

However Mirundi explained that Museveni is the one responsible for the ongoing diplomatic turmoil against his government because instead of appointing people with diplomatic career and knowledge, he appoints political failures as ambassadors.

He explained that such people lack knowledge and compromise diplomatic relations to save government officials from being sanctioned, an act which places Uganda’s government in bad light internationally.

However, Sadam Gayira, the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) president, told Tv10GanoMazima that many government officials are going to be sanctioned in the coming years because the world is returning back to the cold war where western powers are fighting countries that are supporting Russia.

He insisted that sanctions cannot result in Museveni’s downfall, noting that many presidents have been sanctioned by the United Kingdom and United States of America but have remained in power for a long time.

He gave the example of Robert Mugabe of Zimbabwe and Gaddafi of Libya. He noted that countries with sanctioned presidents use the situations to develop themselves. He gave the example of Iran, Iraq and Libya.

Tv10GanoMazima has established that a number of top military officers, judicial officers, cabinet ministers, and Members of Parliament have been sanctioned by western powers over corruption AND fueling human rights violence in the country.

But the known ones are; former Inspector General of Police(IGP) Gen. Edward Kale Kayihura, Maj. Gen. Frank Abel Kandiho, Maj. Gen. Don Nabasa, Maj. Gen. James Mirungi, Maj. Gen. Stephen Sabiti Muzeyi, Lt. Gen. Peter Elwelu and many others.
