LORD MAYOR ERIAS LUKWAGO TAKEN TO NEW DELHI IN INDIA FOR SPINAL CORD SURGERY

The Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago was taken to New Delhi in India for a herniated disc servery.

He said ‘on a medical journey to New Delhi upon referral by several neurosurgeons and other physicians to have specialized anterior cervical disc and fusion surgery to remove herniated disc that has bothered him for over two months with excruciating pain and tingling in the back and upper left limb’.

The medical journey of the lord mayor has not be good since he has been transferred outside the country four times.

In 2020 , he  was diagnosed with acute anaphylaxis where he was transferred to Nairobi for treatment.

In 2021 , he was a gained crushed to Nairobi after collapsing during a requiem mass of the late Kampala archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.

Earlier this year 2024 ,he was again crushed to Nairobi for treatment where he was again advised to go to India further treatment.
